Zummo 550 rubber cover!

Hi all,

I have a Garmin Zumo 550 sat-nav, whenever the Zumo 550 unit is out from the cradle mount you can swing up the long rubber cover (one screw holds it in place under bottom of cradle) to protect the electrical row of pins. This rubber cover broke on my cradle mount and I require a new one. Does anyone know were I could buy one from please? Or maybe has anyone a spare one I could purchase please?

I will pay for all postage charges etc...

Call Garmin first ... they may send you one!

Yep - Garmin just send you another - just say it it 'fell apart' - Roberts your mother's brother!

Hi all,

I contacted Garmin UK a few days ago regarding the faulty rubber breaking off on my Zumo 550 etc, they are now sending me a new one free of charge, nice customer care!!

Excellent news, thank you all for your advice.

Had the same issue and Garmin sent me a new one free of charge

just be warned, it took about a month to arrive in the post, but it was free!!!

I think they only have 1 size of envelope at Garmin ....mahooosive

They sent me a replacement screw from the side rubber cover...its minute.

Came in a envelope that must have been A3 sized


When i asked about this on another occasion... they told me it was harder for the post office to lose one that size
