Zumo 350

Hi

Just purchased a Zumo350 intending to mout it to my GSA on the screen bar
using my Nippy Norman mounting only to find that Garmin have decided to re-invent the wheel by completly changing the spacing of the mounting holes.

Anyone managed to mount a 350 to the screen bar WITHOUT using the supplied ram mount or a TT mount

The RAM mount - as used on Garmin device holder - is the square AMPS base plate (RAM-B-347), so its four holes on 30mm x 38mm spacing pattern.

Should have posted a follow up.
After sitting down more carmly to look at the situation I found that Garmin have kept the standard RAM spacing BUT have turned it through 90 degrees compared with the 2820 mount, so it would not match with the pre-drilled holes on the N/Norman mount.

I have now drilled and tapped new holes in the mount so problem solved.

Hi I have just purchased new zumo 350 updated from PC , but says GPS not on , am I doing something wrong ?

Have you updated it or is it not recognising the 350?
