I am looking to get a satvnav for my GSA and was going to get a TomTom rider, but after having read loads of stuff on these forums, have decided to get a Garmin Zumo instead but.... I am struggling to decided between the 500 & the 550.
Someone told me that the 500 does not cover Europe, is that right?

With the TomTom I can get maps for anywhere should I need them, doesn't the Zumo work like this, is it poss to just buy maps as I need them?

I'm not too bothered about traffic and weather, white lines = bike lanes, black clouds = crap weather.

Can anyone enlighten me to the differences between the 500 & 550's please?
Ta muchly

500 and 550 both come with full Europen maps, thing is the 550 has additional memory and the complete European maps come pre-loaded, the 500 only comes with UK maps loaded and you have to add an SD card if you want full Europe.

In addition 550 has a car mount and power lead as part of the package, if you were to dd this afterwards to a 500 it would cost about £80.
