Zumo 550 c/w traffic alert

Is it worth the extra for the traffic alert?
It'll be used as much in the car,if not more so than on the bike,so I'm thinking the traffic utility could be useful.
Also,how easy is it to install a Zumo on a GS1150?

Cannot answer the first question but it's very easy to install the Zumo cradle on a GS1150....I managed it no problem!

Hi,
The traffic alert is different for the bikemount and the carmount.
GTM12 & GTM21 IIRC.
I have the traffic alert lead in my car and it has NO COVERAGE IN NORTHERN IRELAND However it does tell me that there is congestion 218 miles away
