Zumo 550 easy to use...

Ok. Maybe not. But since I am unfamiliar with that shop, their site is all there is to see. And you never get a second chance for a first impression right??

It's not the most transparent website (to say the least). It gives me the feeling to dubblecheck what you are clicking on and agree to.
My 2c..

Does that price include vat....? Also what is the latest version of mapsource at the moment:)

I have used mnc group with no problems
look at the top of the web page

(if it cheaper we will beat it)

they did for me when I got the 2610

MNC

I found MNC fine - I wouldn't bother with the T for traffic, the Scala headset or the radio add-ons though - if you ring them and speak they are helpful and you may be able to negogiate a reasonable discount as I did.

Delivered within one week from ordering.

550 is as easy to use as a 2610 - easier in my opinion, especially when on the move.

Speed camera subscription from the 'My Garmin' site has been worth it too - regular updates with easy transfer.

One advantage over the non battery types is that you can use it off the bike too - to get to where you're going, or to find where you've parked your bike!

so the zumo 550 is a good choice to make, ive had a look at the instructions online and it don't seem to difficult to use.........and i have a week in the highlands booked and i want to be able to plot my routes so i don't miss out on the good roads.....
plus i'm off to france in july, so i really need to know that i won't get lost...which i'm very good at doin, as i have no sense of direction..........
plus if i do have hassle with it.........i only need to shout help on here, and somebody on here will know what to do...........:thumb
