Zumo 550 French camera sites

Folks can anyone help me out with the above ( as i'm a technophobe of olympic standard). Owing to recent law changes in France i have read its now illegal to have the camera positions on your sat nav. So my question is, how do i disable/ remove these for France from my 550

I think running web updater should sort that for you. You might have to go into the options.

Dont know about a 550 exactly but on my Garmin its Tools/settings/Proximity Points/change/Garmin Safety Cameras/uncheck box.

latest garmin software simply lists "danger spots" or some such, instead of speed camera locations.

are all governments thick when it comes to IT? i thought it might just be ours

You willing to bet that as you haven't got it ticked, that that is exactly the same as not having it on the GPS?

Goodness knows how you get the cyclops off the machine
I will leave that to the experts

Nothing with the frogs is simple

I have not researched their directive yet to see the score

Allowing for the fact the locals have a bit of tyre burning and protesting in the pipeline to come with all the proposed changes we will see
