I bought my Zumo a couple of weeks ago but only got it installed and wired up on the bike yesterday so went for a run today. Ok, the Zumo 550 is mounted using a lockable touratech bracket on my F800GS and is hard wired to the spare canbus socket on top of the battery.
Today I covered 200 miles through the trough of bowland and up to devils bridge nr kirkby lonsdale and surrounding area. It was persistantly raining all the way with thick grey skies overhead yet the zumo never lost signal once and that was through some very hilly terrain.
All in All a very good bit of kit.
