Just taken delivery of the above which I bought online from a company , MNC, for £350, as a white box product.

Have downloaded the user manual. Read it but still unable to solve my problem which is this.

I CAN'T TURN IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:

I have found the flap at the bottom of the unit, and having fitted the plug adapter together for a UK plug, there is no power.

I have also connected it to my computer via the same link and tried to register the product but the computer says it can't find anything.

I received a slip of paper with the unit showing the Unit serial number, the registration code and the unlock code. with the unlock code, is case sensitive and do I have to include the hyphens between each group of letters?

I was aware that these were not as easy as a totmtom rider, but this is ridiculous.

Can anyone help please?:augie

See above in Red The only other thing is have you loaded the software? Think you have to do that first before even plugging it into the computer.

Try that and "break a leg" as they say

It's not a passive USB device and will need it's own power to be seen as well as the Garmin USB driver installed on your PC. That should be installed when you install Mapsource and your mapping, if you haven't already. Once you've resolved the power issue and installed the software try again.
 
I think I understand the bit about not being a passive USB, but I could not see where to plug in the power adapter into the bottom of the unit itself. Am I being thick?:comfort

Check page 52 of the manual you downloaded, it's called 'Charging the Zumo'...
