Zumo 660 cradle issue

i modified my cables from the cradle for the gsa which involved removing the in line fuse. now i have an mv agusta . wiull it be ok to wire up to the battery without the fuse or do i need to buy a new cradle

Install an in-line fuse.

It'll be ok without a fuse.
Unless you get a short.
Then it'll kill your bike.
Possible burn it to the ground.
Your choice.

I would fit a fuse.

There is, I suppose, a positive wire that goes between the cradle and your MV's battery? Break the wire, insert the fuse holder, re-join the wire. Job done.

The closer you can get the fuse to the battery, the better.

where to get the fuse? some blade unline fuses on ebay at £1.75

Any type will do. Use a 2amp fuse for a Gps.
