Zumo 660/Scala G9 "Pairing" Problems !!

Hi All,

I've been running my Zumo 660 paired with a Scala Q2/ I phone 4 amd this has worked well for over 2 years.

I have just upgraded to the Scala G9 headset and after fitment in my helmet, I am now struggling to "Pair" it with the Zumo.

The G9 is switched on (2 blue flashing lights) but the Zumo can not see it??

I have the Zumo in Bluetooth, change audio mode but when i ask it to add a new device it just shows the egg timer for ages but never pairs

Any suggestions please ??

G9 purple to pair

It's easy when u know how.. Ish..

To pair the G9 u need to keep holding the power on button for approx 9 seconds, the 2 lights will flash blue then turn to purple, it's obvious if u watch it whilst operating the on button..

Think it's a 1234 pair code, it will come up on the Zumo display

Does the G9 Zumo 660 and phone all work correctly?

I have G9 zumo 550 E71 phone. If I pair phone to zumo and use in car I can make calls from the zumo with the audio coming from the car mount. However if I also pair G9 to zumo all appears to pair correctly. I can hear navigation prompts from zumo into g9 headset. If I try to make a phone call using zumo sometims it works and others it doesn't. Its totally un-reliable.

I was wondering if it works ok with zumo 660 as I was thinking of upgrading the zumo?

Hi, I upgraded from a 550 earlier in the year, I got a 660 with lifetime updates (soon for sale as today I pick up 1200GS WC te with sat nav ) I've done 5k with sat nav & G9 & iphone, not easy for all functions to work consistently, they need turning on correctly in order, but G9 bike to bike is brill, sat nav commands are good to G9 on Bluetooth, iphone..? We'll its old, but does work, seems lots better than the 550 & the screen on the 660 holds loads more info.
