Hi all,

Pulling my hair out a bit here so I will bow to your wisdom :bow

I am trying to source a power cable that will fit into the cradle the same as the permanant cable. ie round push plug with 4 contacts then held in place by two small screws. However I want this cable to be able to draw power from a cigarette type socket.

The reason is I want to be able to remove the cradle quickly leaving just the ram ball that will be fixed to a brake fluid resivior. I don't want to be hard wiring the cradle into the bike.

Garmin tell me they don't do such a product :nenau I find this hard to believe as they do a 12v car adapter but it shows a different type of fitting :nenau

Any help / advice much appreciated. :beerjug:

Might be helpfull if you tell us how you want to power the zumo on the bike ;)

I am having a 12v cigarette adapter fitted to the bike as a power source. This is a factory fit option on a Tmax and is situated in the lhs glove box.

I just want to be able to clamp the Garmin holder on to the ram ball mount and plug it in and go. Likewise I don't want to leave the Garmin mount on the bike so want to unscrew the Ram arm, unplug from power source and put the lot in my bag.

Jon :)
