zumo help needed please

hi folks a bit of help needed please ,i bought a new zumo 660lm the other day ,when i checked it only had 2012 maps ,so i have updated it via the garmin website to 2016 maps ,now when i switch it n it thinks i am just south of kansis city i have checked and it does say in the menu am in the united kingdom ,it constanly says at he top of the screen locating saterlites,its doing my head in any help please

ok yes your right i have go out side and it has set itself to here where i am,so i turned it off then back on and it still thinks i am back in kansis usa
i will stamp on the bloody thing in a minute

yeh i rang garmin this afternoon they said they would swap it if need be ,even though i bought it from an ebay seller,and yes its a refurbished unit ,probs thats why it was only 260 quid

You can get a new latest 590 model for another £100. Amazon.

i know mate but i have just the bike mount on my bike ,and cant be arsed to take it off

I'd take up Garmins offer of a replacement. Sounds like a very suspect unit.

yeh may do ,i will try it in the morning on my way to work ,if still the same i will take them up on there offer

it basically just searching for a satellite as soon as i switch it on and it still searching an hour later
