I've just bought a Zumo 550 (in Canada) and have only used it in the car so far (no bike in Canada). There is a 'pop-up' box that seems to 'pop-up' randomly and says 'this accessory is not supported' - when you click on it, it seems to go away 9but is very anoying).
I don't think it's bluetooth related, since it 'pops-up' whether bluetooth is enabled or not - any ideas?
Cheers.

Sounds like a problem I had with the motorcycle mount for my Zumo 550. I was getting similar messages to you for a few days, then the power started cutting out intermittently. Garmin replaced the mount and all was fine again. I suspect that you might have a faulty car mount. Do you know anyone else with a Zumo you can temporarily swap mounts with, to check out that theory?

Cheers,

Paul

I got this message repeatedly one day when the zumo was in the bike mount. It turned out to be caused by water in the USB port. I blew it out with an airline, left it to dry out and then packed it with Vaseline. Sorted.

The reply from Garmin said something along the lines of 'there might be a fault with the unit software (even though it is the latest version), try re-loading it'
Needless to say it didn't work, so it looks like it is indeed a faulty mount.
