Zumo Mounts & good vibrations....

Hi all. I'm looking at the best way of mounting my Zumo 550 to my 08 GSA and it looks like there are two different mounts from TT.

Other options include the BMW bracket....I'm also considering options and I'm not certain which way to go.

I like the second one, other than the eye-watering price, but I'm also concerned about vibration damage!!

Any thoughts/recommendations?

Here's the 01-065-0141-0 as fitted on my GSA. My Zumo 550 was mounted on my previous GS using a non-cushioned non-lockable mount from Motorrad Concepts and it was just fine. To be honest, the cheaper one is a cushioned mount as well, and therefore just as good unless you're doing really serious off-roading, but you will need the extra bracket to bring the mount back so it fits behind the screen properly.

I like the fact that it's lockable so you can leave it on the bike when you go to pay at the kiosk when filling it up. It does obscure the tacho a bit though.

Standard RAM mount that comes in the box with one hole drilled in the screen brace on a GS. No vibes and near perfect position.

Not the clearest but it is the U-bolt bracket bolted direct to the screen brace.

Hi Jonothan Im just about to take delivery of my new R 1200GSA but im looking for a new bracket for the garmin 550, ive got the lockable mount from TT which im still going to use, but where did you get the main bracket from and how much?
Looks really tidy and just what im looking for. Ive clicked on both links but cant find it!!
