My Zumo is not charging in it's cradle, upon investigation it looks like some of the pins have worn/burnt, just like my old Tom Tom did. Anyone else heard of this or am I unlucky?

GPS is on a Migsel mount on a 1200 GS and has been used daily for about 6 months. There is quite a lot of vibration in the mount but as it is firmly clamped in didn't think it would be a problem.

Time to test the great Garmin customer service I've read about!

I have had two zumos replaced with the same problem.I was talking to a dealer in dublin yesterday who told me he is getting at least five back a month. The cradles are giving terrible trouble and some of the units are totally failing and going blank.I have a complete pain in my b.....ks with this as I am now awaiting my third replacement. These things cost approx €900 and are giving a lot of trouble.:spitfire

Sounds Like the same trouble as everyone was having with the Tomtom Bike.

Think I'll stick with my Trusty 2610.
