zumo problems

My new Zumo 550 seems to have developed a fault.I planned a route using mapsource from roscoff to san sebastian,sent it to the Zumo succesfully.Next i fitted a 2gb card ,formatted it etc,when i then turn it on i press 'where to' then 'address' and the message'NO DATA AVAILABLE'is displayed.If i press the go home icon the message 'Unable to calculate route,no roads near starting point' is displayed .Any ideas gratefully recieved

John, unlike the 2610 etc it isn't sufficient to send the route to the Zumo. Once you have transferred it you must then import it into the Zumo, really stupid but there it is. Try transferring it again, you should see a screen asking Import data?

Also check that the mapping is still seclected just incase.

make sure tick is still in box saying city nav europe either v9 or 2008NT.
