Hi,

I have a Garmin Zumo 550 that I have had for some time. I am interested to know (as I cannot find it in the forum or manual) if its possible to change the "arrival time at destination" to "kilometers/miles to destination".. I find the time at destination almost always irrelevant and would much prefer to have distance to destination in the standard display.

Any feedback would be great.

Regards,

Jimmy.

Easy.

Ride a route.

Push the third button down on left, to scroll through the screens.

Stop on the one that has the compass image. Column on right is:

Speed

Arrive in

Distance to dest.

Or summat like that.

If you push the 'More' icon on the same screen, different data flashes up. Current time I think is one, maybe height?

Easier way than that..
Tap the bar at the top (showing what road you're on)
Then tap the "show Map" button..
It gives you a nice map of the whole route showing your progress and also give time and distance to go.

I think he'd like to change the time at destination on the front / navigating page rather than tapping away on the unit every time he wants to know how far it is to the destination.

I suspect that there's no easy way to do, you can't even turn off the auto dim function. Might be worth a look on the zumo forum though.

That's the easier way I couldn't remember. :thumb2
