Zumo + Starcom = ?

Anybody on here already using a Zomo in conjunction with a Starcom intercom system?.......

We already have a Starcom Advanced and are on the point of buying a Zumo 550........but.......

.....will we have to buy a Bluetooth headset thingy as well?......or can you connect the Zumo to the Starcom so you can hear the audio directions from the Zumo through the Starcom headsets?????

ive got zumo 550 wired through starcom advance earphones to listen directions and mp3 but dont bother with phone

the cable from the garmin mount plug into the starcom box. both units are hard wired to the back of the accessory socket

Easy enough to set up. As dadster said there is a stereo out on the mount that you can run a standard lead from to the Starcom. All voice prompts and mp3's go through the intercom then. My missus controls an ipod when we ride so that is plugged into the music jack on the Starcom and that leaves the aux and phone sockets free. If only the rider wants the prompts you can use the phone jack as input.

...thanks for the great feedback.....me and especially SWMBO'd, are very pleased there is no need for a Bluetooth gizmo......we are stretching ourselves to get a Zumo......having to buy a Bluetooth whizz-bang as well would be a stretch too far!
