Zumo voice

Hi can anyone tell me how to get voice commands from the Zumo 550, can i get them straight through my intercom or do i need extra kit ?

also is it possible to connect a bluetooth phone through the Zumo/intercom ?

My intercom is the Autocom active rider plus.

To hear the voice commands you need a cable connection from the Zumo to the Autocom.

OK well for basic non phone connections you can use a 3.5mm 4 pole jack to 3,5mm 4 pole jack lead between the Zumo and the Autocom plugged into Aux 2 which will give you full voice prompts and music through your headset.

To connect your bluetooth phone through the Zumo you could use part number 1299 which connects via Aux 1 on the Autocom or the bluetooth adapter part number 1273 for the phone and an isolated lead to handle voice and music.

I'd recommend ringing the nice people at Autocom to talk through the pros and cons of each option.

Not sure about the Autocomm but I have my phone bluetoothed to my Zumo and the Zumo bluetoothed to a Scala Rider headset - works OK but only after I took the firmware down a level on the Zumo - the latest firmware kept disconneting and reconnecting the phone.

Let me know what they tell you. I've just got one and want to do the same. I did telephone them and they quoted £38+ which seemed a bit steep to me for a lead from the Zumo to the Autocom.
