Zumo won't charge.

Anyone else had this issue?
Riding a few weeks ago and unit shut down. Wouldn't switch on. Battery out and in again to reset the unit. Ok but wouldn't accept charge from cradle or from wall socket when I got home.
Garmin replaced it with refurbished unit a couple of weeks ago. Out at the weekend and it worked fine saturday but on sunday morning it wouldn't charge on the bike. I'm wondering if it's the cradle but the fuse would either be working or it wouldn't isn't that right? It couldn't work intermittently?
Anyone any suggestions before I ring Garmin again?

Same thing happened to me, ended up cleaning the contacts in the cradle several times with Maplins Switch Cleaner. It's never missed a beat since.

Clean the contacts very gently though. If you aren't careful you can remove the contact altogether, and have to send it back to Garmin for a replacement.

Phoned Garmin, explained the problem and the techie was convinced it would be the power cable so without any quibbling he popped one in the post to me. Tried it tonight, problem sorted. to Garmin!
