Hi -

There are various operators that cover these routes (thanks Tim C for the valuable data).

Has anyone done a comparison to find out which operator is the cheapest, and which of the routes (departing either Malaga or Almeria, landing at either Nador or Mellila) is the most economical?

Thanks,

Paul G

Ha ha! I walked into that one... :D

OK no probs, I need to do this anyway, and by all means I'll feed the info back to you so it can be added to the body of wisdom, if you think it's of general value.

Nador to Almeria

Hi
I travelled Nador to Almeria in mid January.
The price was 120Euro for an overnight crossing (22.00 - 06.00). Motorcycle and rider. A bunk in a shared cabin was included at no extra cost for vehicle owners. The operator was FerriMaroc.

EuroFerrries had a 20.00 crossing that was approx 10-20Euro cheap but I didn't have time to deal with emigration and get on the boat.

In hindsight I realised I was ripped off for the Algeciras - Ceuta crossing. Ticket purchased in the Algec. RENFRE train station. In future I'd just turn at the port and purchase on the spot - inshallah
