Had some business in Wicklow a recently so went for an unplanned spin from Bray-Roundwood-Laragh and up the military road towards Glenmalure..

Didn't get as far as Glenmalure though as someone had left the gates open on the top of the mountain with some nice long trails leading down...
Played around for a while and headed back towards Djouce to meet up with Willsuds..

We meet up at the bottom of a steep hill... It's a dirt bike playground on the backroad to Djouce between Roundwood and the Sugarloaf.
You can see the dust trail from a few Dirt bikes flyin away from us..

Had passed the hill many times but never tried it.. Probably the dry weather but the tourances gripped pretty well in the very steep bumpy stuff.

From there a blast around the dirt bike trails and a bit of cross country.
Some bits were a bit boggy, so lucky Willsuds was there to pull me out ...
Had gone across this area a while back with Wookie, but twas muddy back then..

Finally back to the steep hill where we entered and Willsuds shows you can get an Adv with a full 32liter tank airbourne... Altought with a nose heavy landing..
Must get a decent camera, as cameraphone just doesn't perform when you need it..

Good to see he's settled down & isn't hooning around anymore :augie

Looks like it was fun. Was only thinking the other day that it's about time we started the midweek evening runs again :bounce1
