Had a few problems getting both phone not to mute and still have stereo music, after a chat with Autocom tried the following and it works a treat....

used the Zumo with a 1299 (microphone lead not connected) and tried an old 1314 (isolated music lead) both worked the same, I had with a Bluetooth dongle.

GPS and music come in through the intercoms music port Aux2 and phone calls are routed through Aux 1 via the BT dongle, this give stereo music that mutes when you talk with auto volume on the pro; and phone calls that do not mute the caller when on the phone.

Doing this is the only current way to use the Zumo to its full potential by not compromising the stereo music and converting it to mono, not having the caller muted when connected in stereo and maintaining the phone control via the Zumo.

You still see who's calling and have use of the phone book option.

If only Garmin would put a seperate volume control for the phone as well as the navigation prompts and the music. However you can fiddle round it by altering the overall volume along with the other 2 settings.

I also have bike to bike radio fitted and this as expected was not affected.

Zumo 550 using 3.3 software.
