I'm planning a trip to Italy, from 23rd June to 1st July (one week + 2 w/e).
I'll be riding through France (Paris Lyon-Grenoble) to Briancon (2 days) and Italian border, then 5 days of hikking / climbing in this part of the Alps (Mont Viso, Valle stura). I usually take F / PD+ (so called 'voie normale') route to the summits, involving some scrambling (like Crib Corg ridge in Snowdon) and sometimes abseilling. No artificial.
Return through Swizertland and Vosges (if time allows, Route des Crêtes).
I'm a 49 years old - sometines grumpy, my kids say - French living in London, I travel (and walk!!) long days, recently came back from Como (780 miles) in one day...
I travel usually with my partner but she cannot make it this time as she has got a new job and no holidays to spend. So if anyone is interested of joining me, send me a message back and we get in touch.
I'm riding a GS1150, but without prejudice!
