help swiss border to zurich - coming down from stuttgart

how far is it please

is it easy on a roads from the border?

any recommendations?

going in 2 weeks as far as cortina then up to assen for gp

Its about 200km from Stuttgart whether you go on the motorway or not. Best get onto the motorway to enter Zurich though - it'll be easier to follow the signs to 'stadmitte' if you come in on the A51 or A1 from the north.
