Algarve, Places to go, Roads to ride...

Am off to the Algarve in September for a week. Going to fly and hire a bike whilst there (probably a Transalp). I've had a bit of a mooch around the net but can't really find a great deal of info. We'll be based in the middle of the Algarve coast and i'm looking for suggestions for routes that i can use for a days riding. National Parks, Quaint villages for lunch, Decent Architecture are in, Riding to look at the Portugese version of Blackpool is definatley out.

So, anyone got any ideas....

Have ridden down their for the past ten years (Faro Rally,friends in paderne) pm me and I will try and piont you in the right direction
