XT 600Tenere does good.

Well last weekend was the Fraggles Rally just outside St Omer, France. I decided to give my newly reconstructed "Big Trip" Tenere a shakedown run. Around trip of just under 800 miles, in what was at times atrocious weather conditions (travelling up the past Bewedley yesterday water flowing cross roads and lying up to 6 inches deep) and the Ten never missed a beat. Running rich so have been advised to drop the needles one notch. Apart from a seat which after 85 miles had me on the verge of comitting ritual suicide everthing went swimmingly (pardon the pun). Fit he cockpit, panniers and gel seat and it is ready for the off. Roll on the New Year.
