Holiday in France

Just got back from two hot, dry and sunny weeks, spent mainly in the South of France & thought I'd give details of a good place to stay, if you want friendly, English speaking hosts who can give you great tips on good rides out in the area (Narbonne area & a bit further afield).

Mick, Hazel (& their son Jacques) can offer self-catering (apartment - 4 bed house) or b&b for around £25 per night (mostly out of school holiday season).
Secure parking for the bike - great breakfasts - lots of useful info.

I stayed with Mick & Hazel, first week in June, great place, very friendly. They know some great roads, especially up towards the lakes.
When I was there it was somewhat wet & cold! Try riding the Gorge of Galamus in a thunderstorm. I could hear the hail on my helmet despite the earplugs!
:D
