This maybe of interest to you guys, it a conversion tool to remove the visible/audible viapoints from your Mapsource route, yet still maintain the route. It was original written for Zumo users who seem to suffer viapoints as flags on the display. I've uploaded Unflagged routes to my 276c and it seems to work with that too (not tried it on the road yet though).
One word of caution, you probably need to have auto recalculation OFF because a recalc in the GSP looses the invisible viapoints and you go straight to your destination.
