I have been sent a bunch of RTE / TRK / WPT files that plot a route off road from north to south Portugal, 80% off road.
The problem I have is that Mapsource will not open them so am looking for help on how to convert. They open OK in Notepad (I have included the first few lines of each below), but nothing I try opens them in Mapsource. I can see lat/longs, but I have ~30 files, and a typical file contains over 500 lines of info, so doing it manually really does not appeal!
I'm sure someone must know the secret application that will do the business, and as a reward for sorting out next years bike holiday for me, once converted I'll post it back up here.
How's that for a deal?

PS I have tried POIConverter, but it does not seem to recognise the formats of the files, and gives errors.
