Hi all

anyone looking to buy a gps for the car could do a lot worse than this

Bought one of these http://www.superetrader.co.uk/mio-c510e-digiwalker-inc-uk-ireland-maps-mre-preinstalled-p-455.html a few month back, and have to say what a brilliant little unit it has been, a doddle to use but feature packed and all for £143 bargain. There are lots of set up options and configuration screens all easy to use, the touch screen is bright and clear The 510e comes with street level detail of Europe on a DVD and to use it on the unit couldn't be easier , just buy a 1gig sd card and transfer individual countries or the whole of Europe to it ,slap the sd card in the unit and that's it no messing about with unlock codes etc.
Routing is done in a variety of ways and all on the unit, post code search , town and street search, or using the map, zoom in and add start and end points then add as many via points as you want and all very easy to use. Route calculation is super fast as is off route recalculation, there are various ways to check out the route it has formed, such as check out the itinerary, scroll the map, or fly over the route at roughly 5 times normal speed. So far routing has all been very logical with no silly back road surprises. Apparently the Mio can be used on the bike and there is a bike mount sold but don't get it wet Lots of reviews on the net Cheers Emm did I mention its easy to use :D
