Hurrah! off with MotoAventures to Morocco in January 2008

With only a week to spare, I wanted a mainly offroad tour having enjoyed Alaska so much a few years back (see here http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48538&highlight=alaska). So its off on MotoAventures Dakar 2008 tour from Jan 5-12th riding KTM 450EXCs and 90% dirt http://www.motoaventures.com/offroad_en/tours.php?id=4

PROPOSED ITINERARY FOR DAKAR 2008.



05th Jan – Arrive Marrakech in the morning and coach transfer to Ouarzazate. Lunch en route. Briefing and free time.

06th Jan – Ouarzazate to Tineghir off-road. Picnic lunch.

07th Jan – Tineghir via Todra gorge to Erfoud. Picnic lunch.

08th Jan – Whole day to see the Dakar passing through the dunes. Picnic lunch. Night in Merzouga.

09th Jan – Further day biking in the dunes. Restaurant lunch. Night at Merzouga.

10th Jan – Merzouga across the desert to Zagora. Picnic lunch.

11th Jan – Zagora back to Ouarzazate. Lunch at hotel.

12th Jan – Transfer to Marrakech. Early evening flight back to Europe.

I met Sue from the company at the NEC on Saturday.
