HP2 problem, I really need some help.

I am doing a major rebuild of my beloved HP2.
HPN tank, Jesse Luggage, Seat in BMW Racing colors from
Sattler osenstetter,Woody´s billet wheels 18/21 Emig Racing bar protectors etc.etc.
I have the HP2 stickers from the MegaMoto plus a lot of other stickers to put on.
Now I just need to get the colors right, I want the 3 BMW racing colors ,red,white,blue as seen on :
HP2 Enduro
HP2 Sport
the new 450 enduro
and probably a lot of other race bikes.
there must be ANYBODY on this forum that can help me with the color codes, I think it´s best with Glasurit codes.
Anybody.......Help......please

I dont know off hand , but our local dealer has just done a 1200 gs in the Colors i Dont know if he took a Flyer or he got the Official color

here is the pic , if you think they look OK I will check

How do they get a nice smooth gloss finish on those rough panels? Just layers of paint?

To my knowledge they use a 'plasterciser'...

I'm gonna get mine done in the team colours when I get some spare cash ( could be a long wait...)

Forgive me, my ignorance,
but what do you mean by 'plasterciser'.
Is it some kind of special plastic sealer etc. etc.
I really hope that the paint shop know what they are doing.
well I´ll have to wait and see

Are you trying to paint HPN tank??? I had a thought about it, but I found out that paint doen't stick to that material.

I've got an HPN tank on my HP2 and I doubt you'll get that thing painted there's an insert piece on the top which came sprayed blue to match the bike but that's about it.

can't see anyway that the base coat would key onto the material all that well

A 'plasterciser' is added to the paint at mixing stage to make it more flexible.
Developed for use on flexible car bumpers etc.

Painted over a plastic etch modern 2k paint + plasterciser has no problem adhering to plastic
