Drvar - Bosnia and Herzegovina

Some time ago I read in newspapers that Tito’s cave in Drvar was restored by United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Place of (locally, ex Yu) famous attempt by German paratroopers to capture partisan leader Tito during WWII. More details can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raid_on_Drvar
Place was mythologized by ruling communist ideology, and around 300.000 people visited every year. With breakup of Yugoslavia and wars that followed place was completely forgotten. I was there as a kid some 25 or more years ago, so it was right time to visit and see what’s left.

Another coffee break on our way back home, near Bihac on river Una, really nice place.
That’s it, 500 km in total, cool Sunday ride with historic flavor.
