Route Truncated - WTF?

Please can anybody help with this.

I've written a route from Calais to Locarno (Alps) using the Route Tool on Mapsource.

I have succesfuly transfered a map set onto my Quest1 but when I try to transfer the route half way through the transfer the Quest beeps and a message comes up on the Quest saying Route Truncated (OK).

The route is not appearing on my Quest but Mapsource is saying it's been transfered succesfuly

I'm off to bed now 'cos on top of a long day this has about finished me off - any ideas on what's going on gratefuly received

Maps not loaded beyond the truncation point

Too many waypoints on the route I think the Quest can only hold so many waypoints but can't remember how many.

This problem has come up before.

Thanks guys, the link covers exactly my problem (ie have put in longer routes previuosly with no problem) but it does look like too many waypoints (including the 'invisible' ones that Mapsource puts in).

I'll have a go at breaking it into two this evening, fingers crossed that will do it
