Using my Autocom on a couple of bikes means I have to carry it in something - bum bag or tank bag, but with my phone (Nokia 6310i) if it is next to the Autocom unit I get terrible interferenc while making or recieving calls.
I have solved this by using a lead lined shielded bag designed for protecting films from airport x-ray machines - available from better camera shops for about £15.
When cut and folded into a small pouch around the unit I have achieved at least 4 layers and I can now put the phone on top of it with perfect clear reception.
Might be just my phone but worth Knowing if you have ignition interference as well.
