Quest better than 2610?

Just missed out on an Ebay bid for a Garmin 2610 which my mates rate as the best value for GPS. Looking a bit more closely it seems a bit old tech and I have switched my attention to a Quest, which seems the next generation.Are they any good and how much should I be paying for a good used one with all the kit?

Pros:-
A very competent GPS - will give a couple of days riding on the internal battery before needing a recharge so no requirement to power it from the bike's electrics - slips into your pocket at petrol stops

Cons:-
Does not run NT mapping - large mapping tiles can limit some long distance tours (solution, buy two units or take your laptop along!)

£100 - £120 seems to get a unit with mounting hardware
