Hi All,

Just interested.....

Anybody know if you can get a small on board air compressor suitable for fixing in the workings of a R1150GS with ABS? ( to cover all eventualities)

If so which?

Cheers

I carry a butchered electric pump which fits in the palm of your hand. Takes up virtually no space.
It was what was left after removing all the plastic gubbins from one of those cheapo car pump/torch/flashing light gizmos you get at halfords etc.
Tiny pump with short hose and short lead with cigg plug on the end.
Sits nicely in the side panel of the Roadster but where to stash on the GS ?

I cannot post pictures but I can email you pictures of a mate who has permantly attached a 12V 4WD type pump to his 1150 Adv.

He has mounted it to the right hand side above the pillion pegs, in and around the footpeg frame.

It pops the tyre back on and of course blows up deflated tyres.

Pretty nifty and when I go on my next big trip, I'll think very seriously of something like this.

I recently saw a Harley which had a tiny onboard compressor which operated the air suspension for the seats.

Try ascycles.com They appear to have every accessory for every eventuality.
