I am looking for a tidy low milage gs , Herby from northern Ireland has a beuty on this site but i am put off by the lack of abs whilst i could probably live with that does this mean it is a non power brakes model which i would not want to be without

If you are talking about the 1200 and before 2007
The ABS brakes are linked and servo, these brakes are just stonking.
Non ABS bikes have a conventional setup unlinked and no assist.
The choice is up to the induvidual, the only advantage with non ABS is simplicity and possibly reliability although I have never had a problem with the servo/ABS set up.

Thanks for that but the bike is a 04 1150gs , i had abs and power brakes on my old bike and the brakes were so good i would not want the replacement not to have a servo
