Have a look at some pics and some readup on our little weekend in Germany attending the Elephant Rally. We had a great time and froze our bollocks off but it was well worth it!

Here is the link

Many thanks to MrTickle, Rusty riding along. Zwerver & Karin for setting us up 1/2 way in his stunning place and getting us to Nurburgring in one piece.
All Zwerver's mates keeping us company and buying loads of bevies at the rally.
Nobbie for his heated vest and self inflating matresses.
And not by any means the least my wife Michellé who once again amazed me by complaining less than I did about the cold ect, she's the best!

The only thing that severely suffered on this trip was our feet. No windstopper or layers of socks could keep my feet warm.

Hope you enjoy

Cheers

Maverick,

Cracking report, can't fault your mate for bailing out.

Where did the thermometer attached to the fork yolks come from you show in one of your pic's ?

Great report Maverick..looks likea great weekend!!!

Well done to your missus for smiling all the way through....top girl!!!

That red 1100 combo unit looks like one of those cartoons of bikes where they exaggerate the tryres and shape.......odd looking, but i bet they had a less scary time on that slippery stuff than you guys did!!

Glad to see you all made it back safely
:D
