G450X Sidestand

Apologies if the question has been asked already but as you will appreciate my sidestand is driving me nuts.

Does anybody know of a mod to prevent it from flicking up on its own, or even better an aftermarket sidestand I can replace it with.

How can such a good bike have such a crap stand.Can you let me know if you find a good aftermarket solution.I am on my second stand now !!

Have a search on some supermoto forums, there has been a mod done to KTM and Berg stands but I've not seen/heard anyone doing it on the GX yet.

I've seen it done on a customers bike, was a bit of bodge but I think that was down to his (lack of) engineering skills rather than a poor idea.

Can't quite picture how he did it, I'll phone him & ask him to email me a pic & I'll post it up.
