Hi all 1st post so just be gentle.

Look's like a great site with plenty of help and information.

Currently own a 09 Yamaha Xt660z Tenere which is a great little bike and has covered 4k in 3.5 months and put's a smile on my face every time i ride it.

My mate has just bought a very tidy, genuine 03 black 1150 gsa with low mileage 16k for £4650. and is trying to get me on one.

Not sure wether to look for a 1150 or go for the later 1200.

i know loads love the 1200 but mate i cannot stop smiling everytime i get on my 1150, mind you only had it a week so thats maybe why

if u can get a similar 1150 for similar money, go 4 it,av a good long test ride on your mates, they grow on you

As to 1150 or 1200, all I can say is try them both on a lengthy test ride mate, its the only way to see which suits you best.

Welcome to the site and thanks for the picture of my bike on the site .If you want a road test you can take my bike anytime, I have road with you to the scotish trials this year and you ride good .
