I saw that earlier today Jim but it won't fit an E.

The E has a rubber strap fitting aft & two 6mm bolts l&r fwd.

From the Clarkes site:

Part No. 11409 for the 400S (quote: This tank WILL fit the SM)

Part No. 11479 for the 400E (quote: This tank ONLY fits the DIRT MODEL DRZ400E and KLX400R)

y would i need a bigger tank?its you that seems to think its necessary to be able to do 600 miles on a 70mph bike, with a seat like a blunt razor blade,
i can get over 100 miles on a tank, way more than enough to get me to the farthest reaches of sherburn
