Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can get a screwdriver (and the size) to get the back off my TT Rider V1 to replace the battery from please?
I've had a search on the forum but no joy.

Cheers.

John.

Hi!

You need two different TORX security bits, T8H for the screws in each corner.
And a T6H for the two hidden screws, close to the lid for the SD card.

Hidden T6H? :blast

The link to the kit I posted doesn't have a T6H...
but my TT1 looks like it has hex ... not torx on the back:confused:

If you look at the back of the unit, close to the lid for the SD card it's two
small plugs/caps with the same colour as the housing.

It could be that different kind of screws are used. But on mine and three
of my mates it's Torx security screws.

well .... I'll go to the foot of our stairs ...

those little plug/caps look just like a moulding artifact in the casing ... I suppose I have not tried to take it apart yet so haven't come across that little "gem"

... but why do it? ... the 4 other screws are left showing ... doesn't really make sense

hey ... it's even on youtube
