Continental Tyres - ContiEscape

I am planning to purchase a new set of tyres for My R11GS in the next few weeks. I found whilst looking for reviews a new continental tyre called the ContiEscape.

Does anyone on the list have the tyre fitted or has anyone experienced the tyre.

I am currently running a front Avon and a rear Tourance and am pleased with both however the Avon has cupped badly.

If the Avon has 'cupped badly' why the hell are you 'pleased with it' ????????

I am pleased with it because it has been on the bike for 13,000km's (6000km before I purchased the bike 7000km with me) and it sticks like shit to a blanket on the road.

Cupping is a result of incorrect tyre pressure, the guy I purchased the bike from did a lot of two up riding and the tyre pressures he was setting were way to low.

Even with the tyre worn and cupped the ride and handling on bitumen are very good however off the road on loose gravel, it is a little loose.
