but came back to life after a hard reset 
Completely out of the blue, went to turn the Zumo on, got to the loading maps screen and then shut down, everytime I turned it on it shut down at the same point. Did a hard reset (unit off hold bottom right of screen then turn on, keep holding until the screen changes. You'll loose your settings, paired devices etc but at least it will work!)
