Help required, my 94 1100gs has failed to start today , never had any problems leading up to this, bike has no spark and plugs are dry, would this be the hall sensor failure? any help would be good. thanks.

Turn the engine over by hand.

Either using top gear and rotating rear wheel or with spanner on the crank pulley nut.

If you don't hear the fuel pump prime when you turn it could be the hall sensor.

Thanks for the reply steptoe, fuel pump is priming, rid is working, everthing working as usual but no spark and plugs dry, what do you think it is? thanks allen.

Thanks for the link sockpuppet, looks like i have the same problem as him, regards allen.

Hall sensor fitted, bike running fine, but bloody expensive!! lucky i could fit it myself, bet a dealer would be an arm and a leg.
