Just as a bit of a reminder of how beautiful the scenery is, here's a video I took of our recce visit to Calum's Road during the Skye Soiree event in August. Sorry the footage is a bit shaky at times - I was filming from the back of Roger's bike. And of course I ran out of battery just as we reached the road itself - d'oh!

That was a lovely little reminder thank you, shame you guys went so early in the day though, When we got over in the afternoon the rain had stopped the temperature had soared to dizzy heights, and the ice cream van was doing a brisk trade.

That was good. Enjoyed that, although the thought of riding that road in January still fills me with more dread than the whole rest of the trip. Don't know why, maybe nerves? Still, less than two months to go now
