Anyone tried it?

I'm new to the 'sport' and have been using the 660 to get close then final leg using a Garmin GPS 12 but the +/_ 10m resolution isn't the best.

I just wondered if the rosette display on the info screen was accurate enough for pedestrian location?

Great fun, not sure the rest of the family would agree, I us a 60cxs great one near here at Anton Lakes, well done and well worth doing.

Found about 10, got told off for planting one on Salisbury Plain

It is easy enough to do with the zumo.

If you use gsak you can then download the waypoints as POI's with a macro.

You can then have the hint, description and a copy of the logs stored on the zumo.
