a quick silly question

at what angle of the bars should the brake / clutch fluid be checked when on the centre stand ?
I cant find my book and not sure if its checked with the bars full left then right for each side or if the bars shoud be pointing forward
daft question I know but I dont want to over/under fill the fluids

The bar should be always pointing forward while checking the fluid level.

As long as the fluid is above the minimum mark you'll be ok.

And on your regular checks watch for the brake fluid going down and for the clutch fluid going up.
